Hoffman|Lewis Creates Four Comedy Spots For McDonald’s

90 provided editorial, graphics and sound design for a four-spot comedy campaign developed by Hoffman|Lewis for McDonald’s. The commercials depict hardworking, sharp-witted McDonald’s crew members saving their valued customers valuable time. Apparently, a few seconds can go a long way.

Carrying the comedic concept and timing through the entire process required collaboration between the agency creatives, the director and the editor. “A little more funny; a little less sausage biscuit,” says director Matt Pittroff. “Of course, there are many factors that go into putting a successful commercial campaign together. But I often walk away from a shoot with very high hopes – then I see the edits – and I throw up in my mouth a little. Not the case here,” the director added.

“It was a great collaboration between everyone involved,” Hoffman|Lewis Creative Director Mark Manion says.
