Explore St. Louis requested we leverage pre-existing, color-graded footage and interviews from the original documentary to maintain visual and narrative consistency. Timecode burn-in review links and transcripts were created to streamline the editing process, ensuring efficiency and accuracy. The final spots were designed to highlight the diversity of St. Louis’ food scene and showcase the city’s cultural vibrancy, capturing its essence in a way that resonated with viewers.

We identified standout moments from the original documentary, focusing on dynamic b-roll and authentic interviews. By leveraging pre-graded footage, the campaign maintained visual consistency and authenticity. The spots featured acclaimed chefs, unique dishes, and iconic St. Louis locations to authentically represent the city’s culinary scene.

Visual Style

The tone of the campaign was warm, inviting, and celebratory, capturing the joy of food and community. This was complemented by a vibrant and dynamic visual style, featuring rich colors, close-up shots of delicious dishes, and authentic moments with chefs and diners, bringing the culinary culture of St. Louis to life.

The project demonstrated how pre-existing content could be transformed into fresh, impactful marketing assets. Collaborative workflows, including detailed transcripts and timecode burn-ins, ensured efficient editing and high-quality results.

The campaign successfully delivered two polished :30 TV spots that encapsulated the essence of the original documentary while appealing to a broader audience. These spots highlighted the diversity and innovation of St. Louis’ vibrant food scene, celebrating the city’s unique culinary identity. The final product left viewers inspired to discover and experience the rich flavors of St. Louis for themselves.
