Creative Elements
We reimagined the traditional tradeshow with an innovative 360° experience, crafting an immersive digital showcase that put products front and center. Shot on an Alexa for a rich, cinematic look, we blended high-end production with the flexibility of a 360° environment. Instead of the standard center-room setup, we pushed boundaries by repositioning the camera for a fresh perspective, creating a more dynamic and engaging experience. To ensure a seamless execution, we built a 3D previsualization of the set, allowing us to perfect dimensions and integrate a flawless 360° set extension. With a lively cast of engaging hosts, each of the 20 product videos delivered both entertainment and information, making the experience as fun as it was effective. Designed for remote viewing, this content gave audiences an up-close look at the products from anywhere, anytime.
On-Set Execution to Previz Solution
Generally when it comes to 360° workflow, the camera is in the center of the room & is shot with a 360° camera rig. However, the client’s concepts had most of the action happening in the front 180°. They still wanted the feel of 360° so we bent time & space to figure out a way to have the camera closer to the back of the room. We also wanted it to have a more cinematic feel, so we introduced an additional challenge by shooting on an Alexa.
To ensure this new approach would work, and to determine proper set dimensions that would feel right with the Alexa lenses, we created the 3D set to scale & did considerable previz work. We were then able to use our model to complete the 360° set extension.
