We were more than excited to partner with our friends at Advertising Savants in helping launch the new Primate Canopy Trails at the Saint Louis Zoo!
A throwback to the 1960s television show ‘The Monkees,’ Director Jason Stamp and DP Brant Hadfield captured all of the same fun and energy with both our human and primate talent. Senior editor, Joel Anderson monkeyed around in the edit suite to great success. And, old friends, Brent Johnson and Mark Bartels got the band back together (so to speak) with Brent’s work on the cover version of the theme song and Mark adding mix and sound design. We were even able to have the zoo staff assist with some GoPros inside the new habitat to see how the monkeys and lemurs would interact with them.
Special shoutout to the Zoo’s Director of Marketing, Ginnie Westmoreland, who retired this summer after an amazing career. We gave her the ceremonious honor of calling, “That’s a wrap!” at the end of the shoot and we wish her all the best!
